More progress this weekend with positive news from a couple
of quarters. First up, I’m delighted to report that my fantasy short story The Fall of the Dark God has been
shortlisted with Ares magazine, and I
should know in December if I’ve made the final cut. I really hope to make a
breakthrough here as this one is a full pro-rate-paying marketplace!
The second piece of great news, the new title Helios Quarterly have asked me to write
a piece for their fourth issue, due around mid-2017, and there’s an interview
goes with it, so a wonderful piece of exposure for an early-career writer! I couldn’t
be more thrilled, and look forward to tackling the challenge.
